Quartz Stone Chardonnay is crafted from select vineyard parcels rooted in quartz-rich soils that lend the wine its distinctive mineral backbone. Aromas of lemon zest, white peach and lightly toasted almonds unfold on the nose, while the palate reveals layered citrus and stone fruit framed by well-integrated French oak. Barrel fermentation enhances texture and complexity without overshadowing freshness, and vibrant acidity carries the flavours through to a saline, lingering finish. The result is a sophisticated, terroir-expressive Chardonnay that balances richness with precision and rewards both immediate enjoyment and short- to medium-term cellaring.
Made from 100% Chardonnay grown in quartz-rich soils in Paarl. It is barrel fermented and matured in French oak, with a portion of new oak used to add structure and complexity, resulting in a dry, full-bodied style with vibrant acidity and a pronounced mineral character.
