Gravel Quarry Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the depth and power derived from Paarl’s gravel-rich soils. Intense aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and plum are layered with notes of cedar, graphite and subtle spice from French oak maturation. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with firm yet polished tannins providing backbone and ageing capacity. Concentrated fruit is balanced by freshness, leading to a persistent, savoury finish. This is a commanding, cellar-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon that rewards decanting in youth and will develop further complexity over time.
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on gravelly soils in Paarl. It is fermented in stainless steel and matured in French oak barrels, with a portion of new oak used to enhance structure and depth, resulting in a full-bodied wine with concentrated dark fruit, firm tannins and excellent ageing potential.
