Masca del Tacco Lu'Li Primitivo Edizione Limitata (Limited Edition) is an absolute beast of a red, overflowing with intense fruit flavours, spice and richness. When we say a hearty Primitivo we are absolutely not joking. This limited edition wine from Masca del Tacco clocks in at a whopping 17.5% alcohol. As you'd expect, it's a deep, inky ruby red colour and there's so much going on in the glass. It manages to be both intense and ethereal with notes of red and black berries, red flowers and aromatic herbs layered with earthiness, star anise, black pepper and balsamic notes. The palate shares all the same characteristics, and is full, smooth and opulent but with incredible elegance considering the alcohol content. A masterful wine to be drunk very slowly alongside something special like beef wellington.
