Lu Rappaio Primitivo di Manduria is lush, opulent and rich. A perfect Primitivo! Heady aromas of cherry jam, ripe plum and blackberry as well as inviting hints of cinnamon and vanilla. As the deep purple colour suggests, it's full-bodied and opulent, bursting with rich, ripe fruit and spice which add a layer of complexity. The tannins are smooth, supple and satisfying. What a wine!
Fermentation on the skins 20-30 days, temperature controlled. Matured in French oak for 10-15 months
