Chamonix Greywacke Chardonnay hails from the cool-climate slopes of Franschhoek, where rocky, greywacke-rich soils shape its distinct minerality and finesse. Hand-picked grapes undergo careful barrel fermentation and maturation in French oak, lending layers of citrus, peach, and baked apple alongside hints of hazelnut and vanilla. Partial malolactic fermentation adds a creamy, rounded texture, while a bright line of acidity keeps the wine beautifully balanced. Elegant, expressive, and age-worthy, this is a Chardonnay that captures both Burgundian restraint and Cape generosity.
