Scotto Family Wines Old Vine Zinfandel has rich, multi-layered flavors of dark cherry, plum, cassis and spice precede a finish marked by a subtle touch of vanilla and soft tannins.
In 1903 Dominic Scotto moved his family to America from the Italian island of Ischia, in the Bay of Naples. While working as a ship’s caulker, Dominic continued the family tradition of making wine and passing these skills to the next generation. Today, his great, grandson Anthony is the 5th generation winemaker at Scotto Family Wines where their varietally expressive wines reflect California’s unique terroir.
