Varvaglione Papale is beautiful Primitivo di Maduria - rich smooth with concentrated fruit flavours. It's pretty hard to go wrong with Primitivo and this is oh so right! Jam packed full of stewed cherry, plum and blackberry flavours, with aromas of vanilla, chocolate and toasty oak. Full-bodied and mouth-filling but with velvety smooth tannins. Every sip is a pleasure. Drink with a selection of cheeses, lasagne or some proper burgers.
