Rocco Sveva Amarone Riserva is king among Amarone. Aged for a minimum of 4 years in total, this wine is deep ruby red in colour with garnet highlights and has an intensely fruity bouquet, with hints of cherry, vanilla, raisins and tropical fruit. There is rich fruit here, with fragrant cherry notes, wild berry, spices, and chocolate. At 15%, it's warming and smooth, with well integrated, silky tannins, and a long-lingering, tasty finish. An exceptional wine for exceptional occasions.
The clusters are hand-picked and then naturally dry for a minimum of 3 months. The wine concludes fermentation in steel, matures at least 24 months in large oak ovals, and finally ages in the bottle.
