Piattelli Premium Tannat 2023

Piattelli Premium Tannat is a bold red from Piattelli Vineyards' high-altitude Cafayate estate in Salta, Argentina, where century-old vines are irrigated by pure snowmelt from the surrounding Andes. Intense and deeply coloured, with hues of violet and black giving way to a fierce scarlet, the wine shows spicy, ripe red fruit aromas lifted by notes of eucalyptus and fig. It makes a strong impact on the palate, combining ripe, firm, intense tannins — the product of slow polyphenolic maturation — with a bold structure, balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish. Made using Piattelli's gravity-flow winery, one of the only such sustainable systems in Argentina, this Tannat reflects both the extreme terroir of Cafayate and the winery's commitment to a gentle, quality-first approach to winemaking.
