Serving lighter red wines slightly chilled in summer can completely transform their freshness and drinkability. A short time in the fridge helps brighten fruit flavours, softens the perception of alcohol and makes reds like Pinot Noir, Grenache, Cinsault and lighter Shiraz styles feel more vibrant and refreshing on warm days.
