Ernie Els Big Easy Chenin Blanc is generously fruited and the palate radiates with sun kissed mango, pineapple glacé, ripe green pears and licks of lime. This tropical exuberance is woven effortlessly into a rounded texture; a cool lime-soaked acidity washes through, refreshing and shaping.
The 178-acre property holds a prime position in the “Golden Triangle” of Stellenbosch, framed by panoramic views of Cape Town and Table Mountain to the west, Stellenbosch and the Helderberg Mountains to the east. The vines benefit from the high-potential Tukulu and Oakleaf soils and are planted north facing in order to absorb maximum sunlight creating ideal growing conditions to produce the fuller and fruitier wines of Ernie Els fame.
