DeMorgenzon’s Maestro White is a tribute to both music and meticulous winemaking—a Rhône-style blend (59% Roussanne, 14% Chenin Blanc, 10% Grenache Blanc, 9% Marsanne, 8% Viognier) crafted with care in the Stellenbosch hills. The bouquet is vibrant with notes of ripe apricot, peach, citrus, and subtle spice, accented by delicate floral and blossom tones. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and textured, with rich layers of fruit, elegant minerality, and a long, nuanced finish. This is a serious, structured white that balances power and poise—ideal for lovers of complex, food-friendly wines.
Grape varieties were picked across a range of different ripeness levels, sorted and whole bunch pressed after pre-chilling. Fermentation occurred naturally in small French oak barrels and cement eggs. Total ageing was 10 months from vintage with blending occurring after 8 months. A light filtration and fining took place before bottling.
