Château Los Boldos Tradition Réserve Cabernet Sauvignon is intensely blackcurranty, with hints of spice, cherries and herbs. A very classy glass of Cab Sav that is one of the specialties of the winery. Despite being full bodied, it's balanced and fresh, and the tannins are not overpowering.

In '14 Château Los Boldos were fully certified as Sustainable Wine of Chile in the three available aspects: Vineyard, Winery and Social aspect. It is their way of showing a continuous commitment to respect and protect the natural resources and the environment, as well as to assure the wellness and improve the community´s quality of life.

Los Boldos has 170 hectares of vineyards which benefit from a Mediterranean climate. The clear, bright skies during the summer and the wide diurnal temperature range are ideal for growing fruit that maintains fresh acidity whilst ripening to perfection. The grapes for the Cabernet Sauvignon come from a vineyard in Requinoa, located in the appellation of Cachapoal. The nearby Cachapoal river moderates temperatures, while stony alluvial soils in the vineyard ensure low yields

The 2019 vintage began with a very dry winter and spring with very little rainfall and temperatures slightly higher than average. This was followed by a dry summer, which prompted slow ripening and ensured there was little disease pressure in the vineyards. The 2019 vintage has produced fresh, aromatic wines. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks over a period of eight days at a controlled temperature of 26°C. No oak was used in order to preserve the intense varietal flavours of the Cabernet Sauvignon, and after malolactic fermentation it was kept in tank for four months prior to bottling.
