Château Los Boldos Tradition Réserve Sauvignon Blanc is bright, crisp and refreshing, tasting of green apples and citrus. This is a lovely vibrant glass of wine wine plenty of flavour, and the finish is dry and thirst quenching.

In 14 Château Los Boldos were fully certified as Sustainable Wine of Chile in the three available aspects: Vineyard, Winery and Social aspect. It is their way of showing a continuous commitment to respect and protect the natural resources and the environment, as well as to assure the wellness and improve the community´s quality of life.

Los Boldos has 170 hectares of vineyards which benefit from a Mediterranean climate. The clear, bright skies during the summer and the high diurnal temperature range are ideal for growing fruit that maintains fresh acidity whilst ripening to perfection. The nearby Cachapoal river also moderates temperatures, while stony alluvial soils in the vineyard ensure low yields. Los Boldos makes wine exclusively from their own vineyards, therefore controlling everything from grape to bottle.

There was very little rainfall during winter and spring with temperatures slightly higher than average. This was followed by a dry period, which prompted slow ripening and ensured there was little disease pressure. The 2019 vintage has produced fresh, aromatic wines. The must was fermented at a cool 14-16°C for a lengthy three week period in stainless-steel tanks to retain crisp, clean varietal flavours. The wine rested for another two months in tank, with no malolactic fermentation. The resulting wine is zesty and fresh with a bright fruit profile. Winemaker: Victor Arce
