Domaine Duffour Côtes de Gascogne is a brilliant value white for any occasion. Aromatic, zesty and citrussy, with a clean and refreshing finish. This is the sort of wine that you can take to drink with friends when you don't know what they drink, because it's just ideal - great value and easy drinking!

A quality driven approach in this family run vineyard leads to a classic, great quality wine. The traditional grape varieties of Colombard, Gros Manseng and Ugni Blanc are expertly blended to give vibrant citrus and exotic fruit with an aromatic finish.

Domaine de Saint-Lannes, located in the centre of Gascony, has been owned by the Duffour family for several generations. Michel Duffour took over the estate in '71 and his approach is very much based on quality rather than quantity. By reducing yields and working meticulously in the winery he has made this estate one of the best and most consistent in the area. Today, Michel's son Nicolas has fully taken over the estate.

Domaine de Saint-Lannes spreads across the sprawling slopes so typical of the region. The surface under vine is 70 hectares with a clay and limestone soil which is an ideal site for the white grape varieties grown there. The south facing slopes ensure early ripening as well as perfect drainage. The continental climate, hot summers and cold winters, is beneficial for the healthy development of the vegetative cycle of the vines. The average age of the vines is 30 years. On arrival at the winery, the grapes were cold soaked for 15 hours and left on the lees for seven days at 10°C. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tank at 16-20°C for 10-20 days, depending on the grape variety. The wines were held separately until blending in January following the vintage.
