A long-legged, water-wading bird, the Grey Heron is an elegant hunter, offering a natural alternative to pest control. A fellow friend of the vineyard, this wine honours the Grey Heron as a perfect blend of elegance and firm structure.

Wines are sourced from selected sites in Franschhoek, Bottelary and Breedekloof. Picked at optimum phenolic ripeness to ensure concentration, ripeness and varietal expression. Cold soaked and fermented at 23-25°C. Portions of this blend spent 12 months in oak to add complexity and structure.
