Adria Vini Da Vero Biologico Bianco has bright, appealing aromas of citrus and fennel with delicate floral notes. The palate is fresh and incisive with grapefruit and preserved lemon characters, good concentration, and mid-palate weight leading to a tangy finish with crisp acidity.
The Da Vero wines ('davvero' meaning ‘really’ or ‘naturally’ in Italian) are the result of our long relationship (over 10 years) with a cooperative in Sicily, who we have been working with since our Sicilan project began.
The Catarratto grapes are sourced from the north-west corner of Sicily, at Calatafimi, between Marsala and Palermo. The vineyards were converted to organic viticulture in 2005. The grapes are gently pressed and the must vinified at 16ºC. Maturation in stainless steel.
