Valenciso Rioja Blanco showcases the elegance and class of modern white Rioja. Crafted from a careful blend of Viura and Garnacha Blanca, the grapes are hand-harvested from old vines and fermented in French oak, where the wine rests on its lees for added texture and complexity. The result is a beautifully balanced wine with aromas of citrus, pear, and stone fruit layered with hints of vanilla, toasted almond, and a creamy mouthfeel. Fresh acidity and minerality lift the palate, ensuring it remains vibrant and food-friendly. Hand-harvested Viura and Garnacha Blanca, fermented and aged in French oak barrels for texture and depth.
Grapes are sourced from 80 year old vines on clay, stone soil in the North of the Rioja Alta area - these vineyards are of outstanding quality. Sustainable viticultural practices are followed. The Viura and Garnacha Blanca bunches are destemmed, very softly pressed, and then transferred to 225 litre Caucasian oak barrels for fermentation (with indigenous yeasts) and around 9 months ageing.
