Castello Monaci Coribante is a deep, juicy and intriguing blend of Syrah and Malvasia Nera di Lecce. Syrah brings with it classic flavours of fresh red fruits and blackcurrant, and the dried Malvasia Nera di Lecce grapes, aged in barrique for 12 months, add fullness and body. This wine is high alcohol and has a deep ruby colour and subtle tannins. As well as blackcurrant, there are notes of cherry, plum and plenty of vanilla. Smooth, rich and satisfying.
The name of the wine is inspired by the lively character of the Coribanti, dancers who at the rhythm of the tambourine unleashed in frenetic dances and pulsating music, able to transmit heat and energy in an unrivaled harmony.
